thanksgivingcambridgeThanksgiving week in Cambridge, Massachusetts is a great time for both visitors and native Cantabrigians.  Football is part of many family traditions.  You can take the trek out to Everett to see Cambridge Rindge and Latins Falcons take on the Everett Crimson Tide or you might decide to stay closer to home and see Boston Latin play Boston English at the historic Harvard Stadium.

Some of us do not like to cook, some of us can’t cook but thankfully you have more options than you can handle for eating at some great restaurants both in Harvard Square and in other parts of Cambridge.

As a visitor you may be visiting family in Cambridge.  That can be both fun and stressful.  If you want to relax without the pressure of living with family during your entire stay the Charles Hotel still has vacancies for its Trimmings & Thanks Package.  The Charles hotel also highlighting the Lighting of the Harvard Square Holiday Trees family event that takes place on Friday November 28th.  If shopping is your game you can fit in Black Friday deals both in Harvard Square and the CambridgeSide Galleria Mall.

Lastly the City of Cambridge has stepped up in a neat way to sponsor Free Taxicab Rides home for those that don’t have designated drivers.  The program which is valid for a free ride home from 10pm Wednesday to through 3am Thursday is sponsored by the City of Cambridge License Commission, Cambridge Licensee Advisory Board, Ambassador Brattle Club and MPC.  There are some restriction so here is a link to the official Cambridge SafeRide flyer.

Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
